With its backstabbing, bloody battles and dragons, Game of Thrones is back! And, to celebrate, Leeds Central Library’s Room 700 is transforming into a medieval-style marketplace where you can discover more about the myths, legends and real-life history that inspired the award-winning books and TV show.

You can expect on the day –

Armour demonstrations

Talks from the University of Leeds about royal women in power and medieval medicine

The opportunity to handle and view centuries old books that tell the story of some of the real life events behind the fantasy

Medieval and Renaissance music from the Leeds Waits and lutist Peter Bollada

Game of Thrones inspired activities and games for all the family

…and much more
